Well, we’re both walking! And by walking, I mean both girls managed to take an unassisted step over the weekend. So, Marlowe Bean, your first step was on August 27th, and Giddy Bear, yours was on August 28th. Eleven months old. Squeaking in right under that one-year-old wire, so to speak.
Now, neither of you are exactly running laps around the room at this point. Cruising around the perimeter of the room at the speed of light? You betcha. And you both still prefer the “lunge and hope someone catches me” maneuver, but now that you’ve figured out you can stick a foot out and catch yourself, it’s only a matter of time until you’re running around willy nilly.
That’s when the bungee cords are coming out.
